The summer breeze always blows so sweet
You know it’s always just a cheat
There’s always a catch,
The timing doesn’t match
And you’re left wondering what if,
My darling, what if?
The breeze is warm, light and soft
It could always bring out a spontaneous laugh
One that springs from joys unknown
From feelings you thought were long gone
You see, summer belongs to heat and dryness
You don’t expect love and tenderness
So when that cool breeze blows in
You just want to curl up and cuddle in
Summer breeze, please don’t end
Let me be where your direction tends
West or North, wherever you lightly blow
That is where I will try to follow…
Lovely poem.
Thanks!
